Crash like never before: Grand Sedona “Vertical Street” test
Kia recently conducted a new type of vehicle crash test on its Grand Sedona minivan (Sedona), which received the maximum 5-star safety rating from NHTSA. Instead of a traditional crash test against a stationary wall, we went vertical, reproducing the test by dropping the car from up high! Watch as the Grand Sedona gets dropped 12.6 meters, resulting in the same impact as a standard 56 km/h crash test.
