KIA Motors South Africa yesterday said ‘bon voyage’ to Zian van Heerden, one of the company’s longest serving senior executives. As of today, 1 March 2017, Zian will move into the position of Vice President of Sales at Renault South Africa, another business unit within the recently formed MOTUS Group, of which KIA Motors South Africa is also a member.

Zian van Heerden joined KIA Motors South Africa in August 2000, and has served the company in a variety of roles over the past 16 years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Well-known and respected among the South African motoring media and wider automotive industry, Zian has played a pivotal role in not only establishing the KIA brand in South Africa, but also growing its market share.

I wish him all the very best of success in his new role, and I’m sure he will display the same kind of passion and dedication in this new role.”
