SHOUT, spearheaded by Kia Brand Ambassadors Danny K and Kabelo, is taking its campaign to make South Africa a safer place for all to bold new levels with a powerful new song and video, and a life-changing mobile app. The new song and video was unveiled at an event at Nu Metro Montecasino in Johannesburg, attended by many of over 100 South African recording artists who have lent their talent to a breathtaking new version of the John Farnham classic, “You’re The Voice”.

“You’re The Voice” is produced by Crighton Goodwill and Danny K.  It features the who’s who of South African recording artists, drawn from the multiple and diverse genres that ensure the country has such a vibrant music scene.  From current hip-hop kingpin, AKA, to Afrikaans rock hipsters, Die Heuwels Fantasties, hotshots like Khuli Chana, and veterans like Hugh Masekela, the list of artists who have contributed to “You’re The Voice” makes it quite possibly the biggest and most extensive gathering of home-grown talent on a record in history.  The song is available now for download. SMS VOICE to 49300, donate R20 to get the track.  The video can be seen by going to www.shoutsa.comor

Kia has been a proud partner of the SHOUT foundation since its launch in 2010. Danny & Kabelo are both Kia brand ambassadors. Elana Afrika Kia’s other proud brand Ambassador sits on the board of the Shout foundation, so Kia is very much part of the SHOUT family.  As part of the new 2012 campaign Kia has donated 3 Picantos to the  Shout Foundation as well as a Kia Soul.  The three Picanto’s  are up for grabs as consumer prizes.  SMS VOICE to 49300, donate R20 to get the track and find out more about the competition.
